We are very fortunate that we are able to offer on-the-day ten minute appointments during our urgent surgery between 9 – 10am.
The doctors would like to remind all patients that these appointments are for urgent matters only where there is a clinical need to be seen on the same day.
When you need to see a doctor about a less urgent problem, or for a routine procedure or health check, please book one of our regular fifteen minute appointment slots in advance.
This is to ensure the safety of patients who need to be seen promptly with urgent problems needing immediate medical attention – it is unsafe for these patients to ensure prolonged waits, reduces the possibility of spreading infection, and allows us to deliver a better quality of service to all patients.
We would be able to offer more of the longer routine appointments if fewer patients used the urgent surgery.
