Our staff come to work to care for others, and it is important for all members of the public and our staff to be treated with courtesy and respect and we ask you to treat our GPs and their staff courteously at all times. Violence against or abuse of practice staff is totally unacceptable.
We take seriously any threatening, abusive or violent behaviour towards any of our staff or patients.
All such incidents will be reported to the Practice Manager and the GP partners. If a patient is violent or verbally abusive, they will be warned to stop their behaviour. If they persist, we may exercise our right to take action to have them removed, immediately if necessary, from our list of patients and in extreme cases, the Police being contacted.
Any form of physical violence or intimidation will NOT be tolerated.
